The editorial staff of Defencereview.gr recently visited the new, state-of-the-art facilities of SCYTALYS S.A., a member of the EFA GROUP, in Neo Psychiko. There, we chatted with the company's executives and discovered their innovations, with an emphasis on the MIMS Ranger - a truly state-of-the-art military technology system. The MIMS Ranger stood out during our visit. The system is aimed at Special Operations Forces to ensure Situational Awareness. It is a true force multiplier on the battlefield. Its innovation lies in its portability: a lightweight, mobile-sized device that does not burden the fighter, but also provides him with incredible command and control capabilities. The MIMS Ranger is not only a tool, but also a strategic ally. With the Android Tactical Edition, the device offers increased durability and communications security. It also features dedicated ports for attachments and easily interfaces with tactical radios, providing a reliable, self-managed network. MIMS Ranger Product Owner George Koussis reports: "MIMS Ranger is designed to put modern technology in the hands of people in critical situations. The MIMS Ranger is a modern tool to bring the modern technology of the MIMS Ranger to the modern world.

MIMS Ranger stands out for its ability to create and share a common tactical image in real time. From viewing data on 2 2D/3D maps to relaying live video and audio, the system enhances situational awareness and operational effectiveness. MIMS RANGER capabilities include route planning and navigation, tactical casualty evacuation (MEDEVAC - CASEVAC), exchange of predefined emergency messages, HALO-HAHO (High Altitude Low Opening, High Altitude High Opening) free-fall calculation, Blue Force tracking, target coordinate calculation and cooperative targeting with in-network information transmission. The ability to connect to UAVs and receive data for targeting adds another layer to its operational flexibility. A typical example is the ability to use the MIMS Ranger,in operations by Joint Terminal Attack Controllers (JTAC). The wealth of information available to them, through MIMS Ranger, is critical to mission safety and effectiveness. Combined with the rest of the MIMS family of products, MIMS Ranger ensures success in even the most demanding missions.

The company is a leading leader in the field of interoperability of TDM and TDM systems. Of particular note is the interoperability with tactical data links with the products (MIMS Ranger and ULS -JREAP-L16), as well as the ability to transfer targeting data from fighters to various platforms, such as with F16s. Among its innovative products that ensure success, and regardless of the mission, the Universal Link System (ULS) stands out, which integrates data from different platforms, offering unique flexibility and autonomy to defence operations. About MIMS Ranger, George Meneksis, CEO of SCYTALYS states: "our commitment to innovation and excellence is embodied in this system that gives unparalleled situational awareness and operational efficiency, ensuring success in the most demanding environments." 3 The Universal Link System (ULS) and the MIMS product family, with a particular focus on MIMS Ranger, are the pinnacle of our technology commitment. MIMS Ranger, in particular, incorporates innovative solutions that improve the operational readiness and efficiency of special forces, giving them the edge in every mission."

One thing is for sure, the MIMS Ranger is on the cutting edge of technology, ready to change the data, standing out but also shaping the fighter of the future.
