SCYTALYS participated in IDEX 2021

SCYTALYS successfully concluded its participation at the International Defence Exhibition and Conference – IDEX 2021 event, which took place in Abu Dhabi between 21 – 25 February (IDEX 2021 Home Page), considered to be the most strategically important tri-service defence exhibition in the world.

Throughout the 5 days of the event SCYTALYS’ stand was visited by numerous National delegations and participants ranging from Armed Forces to Industry and individuals virtually from all around the world and received strong interest and positive feedback about its innovative products, technologies, solutions and capabilities that were in display.

SCYTALYS during the event had the opportunity to present its latest developments and achievements in the following topics:

  • Tactical Data Links and Interoperability solutions
  • Mission and Tactical Command & Control Systems

The highlights of this year’s participation was the introduction of the latest addition in SCYTALYS’ Mission Systems portfolio going under the name of ‘MIMS Ranger’, which is a software application designed and developed to provide Real-Time ad-hoc Situational Awareness to forward deployed dismounted soldiers and personnel of Special Operations Forces at the palm of their hands for demanding missions.

During military operations, the battlefields become fractured zones where the level of confusion, noise and ambiguity impact on achieving tactical objectives. Situational Awareness (SA) used to be a main challenge but not anymore with MIMS Ranger.
